A chimpanzee at the Wellington Zoo in New Zealand was reunited with a volunteer that knew her as a baby, heartwarming video from May 19 shows.
A zoo ranger caught the touching moment when Jessie, a 41-year-old chimpanzee, spotted a woman she had not seen for decades standing just outside her enclosure.
Jessie reached an arm out to the former zoo volunteer, who was standing outside the enclosure’s glass.
